A Ride Around My Home Town

Here is a video I made of a ride around my home town. I fashioned a home made camera mount on to the Goldwing and bolted down my cheesy little digital camera. Maybe not the greatest of cinema but not bad for my first effort at motorcycle ride video.
Enjoy the ride.

It is starting to get cold outside in the Northern states, riding your motorcycle is a little more of a task then it was in the past summer months, now you have to bundle up and ensure you have the proper gear for the weather. Helmets, while should be worn all year round, become more popular in the colder months as they protect our faces from the bitterly cold winds that used to be warm rays of sunshine. This fall and in to early winter for the die hards who can not garage that beautiful bike may want to dress up their motorcycle helmets with some bling and maybe even a Mohawk. Helmet hair has become pretty popular, there are some bikers who wear it faithfully and sport it as if it were their own doo. The affordable and fun helmet hair and helmet patches can make your helmet more colorful, get you more attention, and even match your personality. So don’t put away the bike yet, grab that helmet to protect your face and slap on a bright blue Mohawk to that old helmet and make it look like new. You can get helmet hair to match your bike, your gear, or just find one that matches your style.

Hey there
Just surfing when I should be working and came across your Blog. Fantastic!
I only started riding last year and my first bike was a 1981 Silverwing affectionately
named Flurry. In Jan of this year I rode her from Phoenix to the Panama Canal – take that all you KLR and BMW adventure snobs!
I’m now riding a VStrom for most of my riding but I bought a 1981 Goldwing in Oct for some more sedate cruising with my wife. Take a look at my blog for some pictures and scroll back to read about
Flurry is you have the time.
Cheers

Great work with the video - you've inspired me - to do more riding and to get more of it on camera. I like the choice of music, too. Patrick Hernandez is an old favorite.

Nice to see another Gold Winger out there! Your bike is beautiful shape. The video looks really good, too, but have you tried a really solid mounting bracket? You don't have to worry about losing your camera, even if it is a cheap one!

Here's a link, tell us what you think!
